Tell us a number is wrong

This catalog is 974 published figures read off makers’ spec sheets and typed in by hand across 53 scopes, so some of them are wrong. Eye relief given as a single number when the maker publishes a range, travel recorded in MRAD off a page that lists MOA, a configuration that has quietly been discontinued — those are the ones we would most like to hear about.

The site keeps no accounts and runs no newsletter, so there is no list an address could be added to. Yours carries exactly one reply back, and no optics maker learns who asked about its travel figures.

Click value, travel, weight, eye relief

A spec that does not match the box. Click value, elevation travel, weight and eye relief are the four that go wrong most often, usually because a maker revised a line without renaming it.
A scope that should be listed. Model name and a link to the maker’s page is enough — every entry needs a published source before it can be added.
A price the market has left behind. Prices here are dated snapshots, not live figures, so a stale one is expected rather than surprising; it still gets fixed at the next sweep.
A model that is gone. Discontinued configurations get removed rather than left sitting in a compare table.

Checked against the maker’s own PDF

A correction is checked against the manufacturer’s own product page or spec-sheet PDF before anything changes, and the entry’s recorded source is updated at the same time. If the maker publishes nothing on the point, the field stays blank — that is the rule the whole catalog runs on, and it is the one exception to “we will fix it”.
